The ALLIANCE FOR NATIONALISM AND DEMOCRACY (ANAD) Partylist described as pure rehash and hogwash all issues that Maoist terrorist sectoral front and pseudo partylist groups shall raise during the series of mass protests leading to President Benigno Simeon Aquino’s III State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 25, 2011.

“As usual, Bagong Alyansa Makabayan (BAYAN) and all of its sectoral front organization will exert all effort to sow hatred and confusion among the Filipinos and fan the flames of public discontent against government,” said ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover even as he challenged these groups to throw out their mask of pretension as pro-people and pro-poor by publicly admitting their real character and persona as surrogate of Maoist communist par excellence Jose Ma. Sison. “They must be brave enough to declare that they’re communists!” he said.

“Since l968, these groups, transcending generations, were relentless in waging anti-government campaign, regardless on whoever sits in Malacañang, and have shown how adept they are in evilly attacking US imperialism,” he added.

The sole pro-democracy advocate solon in Congress pointed to sheer callousness and high stakes lies that shall mark these protest actions considering that Maoist terrorist pseudo- partylist Representatives are with the majority group in the House of Representatives. “Imagine Teddy Casino, Neri Colmenares of Bayan Muna, Luz Ilagan and Emmi de Jesus of  Gabriela,  Rafael Mariano of Anakpawis, Tony Tinio of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers, and Raymond Palatino of Kabataan, hitting at the government of President Aquino III while at the same time milking the very same administration of funds, resources, and influence as members of the Majority block in Congress?” Rep. Alcover pointed out.

He explained that the issues on agrarian reform, US imperialism, corruption in government, poverty, inadequate health programs, anti-mining concerns, debilitating effects of the rising prices of oil products the ordinary Filipinos, and the lack of vision and decision of the current national leadership shall be played-up during these protest actions, “They shall relish on the very same issues that they have been propounding since time immemorial. ‘Tis  like repeatedly playing the very same broken record that the Filipinos have already frowned and discarded,” he said.

“Instead, they should be sensible enough to tear down all of their pretensions and lies. They should face the Filipino people and show them what real colors and character they have in stock! It is a terrible insult to the Filipinos to be served with ‘unpalatable meals’ that poison instead of nourishing our people’s mind,” Rep. Alcover
